I am a Canadian born artist from Quebec that now lives in Chicopee MA. I have always been the Creative type. My childhood was filled with learning new ways to channel it and share it with others. I was always telling stories and discovered animation when I was 11 years old.
This greatly excited me and I spent the next few year developing my skills in it trying everything I could to get better at it.
I started with stop motion Animation which gave me the fundamentals I needed to understand how motion worked. Then i moved on to some traditional hand drawn animation, then vector bone rigged animation.
When I was 13 years old a friend provided me with a green screen and video compositing software.
Now I had the ability to make my home videos have visual effects like the movies? That Blew my mind. And for the next few months after that I spent countless hours pouring in all the tutorials and learning every technical term I could. the results were many light-saber videos with explosions and fire. But hey, I was 13.
As I got older I needed to focus on the quality of my work and make my images more convincing.
So I began to spend more time In Adobe Photoshop. Doing this helped me understand how many elements are involved in the creation process to make someone believe what they are seeing is... in a sense... real.
In the world of art there is no limit to what you can learn, and a true artist is an artist because of how they look at the world around them and portray to others that little piece of how they see it.
In the past few years I have put a bit more focus on that with my illustrations. I'm excited for all the new experiences I'll have in the coming years of progress!
In the work world I have rebuilt websites, created, animated, and illustrated promotional ads. I have also re-branded companies looking to step their game in a competitive field. I have always striven for versatility and know the importance of adapting to the needs of the client without losing what makes me unique. In 2016 I decided to register Laplanet Arts as a business in the state of NY. Since then I have been rapidly expanding my field in Web and Brand development. My favorite part is seeing the companies I've helped succeed and grow knowing I played a part in that. Have I mentioned that I love Koalas? I mean who doesn't though... Now that you know a bit more about me, I think we should talk.
